Still, "new elements have raised doubts as to the fact that this jersey was worn by the player in the first half of the match of the final of the 1998 World Cup", explained the expert of the sale Jean-Marc Leynet. "With the agreement of the owner, the jersey is removed from the sale" which was scheduled for October 13 "to conduct further research."

Fans of Zidane can console themselves by bidding on another jersey of the famous number 10, the one that Zidane wore in the first half against Algeria on October 6, 2001, at the Stade de France. The coin is estimated at 4,000 euros. This match was interrupted in the 74th minute by a score of 4 to 1, after the invasion of the field by young fans. Entirely dedicated to the sport, this sale which will take place on October 13th brings together another 544 lots.
